In the context of these three questions, the project will work towards a number of research objectives, translated into corresponding work packages (WPs):
WP1. Develop a coherent multidisciplinary conceptual framework integrating science and technology studies, law, and internet governance studies.
WP2. Develop a multi-methods approach that integrates qualitative methods, big-data based qualitative methods, and evidence based socio-legal research.
WP3. Map the most important blockchain projects, their governance, and assess their disruptive potential.
WP4. Identify the next social domain to adopt blockchain technology, document and analyse the adoption process through critical discourse analysis, and stakeholder interviews, explore disruptive impact.
WP5. Create an inventory of emerging policy responses, and assess policy tools in terms of efficiency and impact.
